It’s fitting that the brand perfect for rounded body types is called Chubbies. It’s like a match made in heaven.
They’re stretchy AF. Won’t stick to your skin. Easy to move around in, and with an elastic waistband you won’t be praying to the carb and bloating gods when you suck down that 7th beer.
Don’t worry. This isn’t your typical big and tall brand - they’ve got some really cool designs that won’t bore you.
If you’re tall and/or lanky - don’t fret. RVCA’s got you. With deep roots in southern cal… their founder created the brand on subcultures like surfing, skateboarding, art, and jiu-jitsu.
Because of that, these shorts sit low, have a little longer inseam, and aren’t as stretchy as your typical boardshorts. It perfectly completes a rectangular body type. Not too straight-legged, where you’d look like a box. It’ll give you a cleaner look on your body lines.
I have a triangle body type. And with a triangle body type, the worse thing you could do is extend your lower midsection.
What I mean by that is you probably got a big ass and a short torso. Wearing anything too sliming or long can make your lower midsection look off.
Flare out swim trunks with shorter inseams is your best bet. And ambsn shorts are perfect for this body type.
If you’ve got a bigger chest and a slim waist, you’re going to want swim trunks that parallel your lower and upper body. Duvin Design Co. is perfect for this.
With thicker drawstrings waistband and a straighter inseam, it’ll help the lower half of your body match up with your think chest.
Duvin shorts aren’t too sliming either. So they won’t cling to your legs and won’t emphasize your inverted triangle body type.
